Description: This navy blue flag with the gold lettering is the flag of the state of Oregon. It has State of Oregon written above the escutchen which is a part of the state seal. One the tip of the escutchen is an eagle with 33 stars surrounding it, representing that Oregon was the 33rd state to join the union. In the seal are pictures of ships, a wagon, a plow, a sheaf of grain and a pick ax. There is also a banner with the words "The Union". Below the escutchen is the number 1859 representing the year that Oregon entered the Union. The flag is made of cotton and measures 90 by 155 cm.
