Description: Photographic reproduction of a print depicting Chief Tarhe, The Crane, of the Wyandot tribe. Tarhe was chief of the Wyandots and recognized for uniting the Indian warriors in the Battle of Point Pleasant in 1774, the Battle of Fallen Timbers in 1794 and signed the Treaty of Greenville in 1795. Tarhe died in 1818 at the age of 76. View on Ohio Memory.
