Description: This photograph shows the Brier Hill Works, Youngstown, Ohio, ca. 1920-1929. In 1923, the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company under James A. Campbell bought the Brier Hill Steel Company. Always a tenacious businessman, Campbell also acquired valuable ore, coal, and limestone reserves located near the plant.
