Edward Harness Collection
Description: Mica cut-out is an effigy of a corner-notched projectile point. The base is diamond-shaped and has long barbs, denoting deep notches. The thin, translucent mica is several shades of gray and yellowish red. Iron deposits may account for the slightly rusty color. Item was excavated from Harness Mound in Ross County, Ohio.
