Hopewell Mound Group
Description: Flat, rectangular panpipe cover has two longitudinal grooves forming three cylinder-like chambers. One side has been flattened slightly. The residue of probable reed-like material is still intact inside. The copper is moderately corroded and is grayish green and pale green in color. Item was excavated from the Hopewell Site in Twin Township, Ross County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
