Hopewell Mound Group
Description: Large, black obsidian biface has a broad blade that tapers to a point and curves slightly. The base is in the shape of a broad V. It has been broken nearly in half and glued together. One side has been restored, possibly with plaster. Item was excavated from the Hopewell Site in Twin Township, Ross County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
