Hopewell Mound Group
Description: Black obsidian biface is crescent shaped. There are small, shallow corner notches. The inner edge of the blade expands near the base, which is small and fan shaped. The tip of the blade has been reconstructed from painted plaster. The blade has been broken nearly in half and repaired. Item was excavated from the Hopewell Site in Twin Township, Ross County, Ohio.
