John Seip Collection
Description: Small round object, the size of a marble, is made of black steatite. It has an incised design with two concentric oval shapes repeated twice on opposing sides. The shapes are pointed at the long end. Above and below are a total of four curved shapes that connect to the pattern on the opposite side. Item was excavated from Seip Mound in Paxton Township, Ross County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
