Description: Rim of a grit-tempered ceramic vessel consists of eight pieces glued together. It is Cole cordmarked. Added rim strip flares slightly at the lip. There is evidence of a flange at one edge of the rim at the lip. The rim ranges in color from very dark grayish brown and light grayish brown to pale brown. Item was found at the W.S. Cole Site in Delaware County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
