Description: Reverse side of Ephraim S. Holloway's portrait mounted on a carte de visite. Ephraim S Holloway was a Captain in the 41st Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. The 41st was organized in Cleveland, recruiting men from Cuyahoga, Trumbull and Geauga counties. They saw action at Shiloh, Corinth, Chickmauga, Mission Ridge, Atlanta and Nashville, and were mustered out in San Antonio, Texas, in November 1865. View on Ohio Memory.
