Description: Pamphlet titled "The Slavery Question--Dred Scott Decision" and written "To The Free Voters of Ohio," ca. 1857. This published document declared that slavery shall not exist in Ohio. The Dred Scott decision refers to the legal case of Dred Scott v. Sandford, in which a slave sued his master for his freedom as well as his family's after the master took Scott to live in a free state for a time.
