Description: The stern-wheeler, W.P. Snyder, Jr., is shown pulling a coal barge along the Ohio River. The W.P. Snyder, Jr is the only steam driven, stern wheeler on the river system today. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 10, 1970 and to the National Historic Landmark on June 29, 1989. It now resided at the Ohio River Museum in Marietta, Ohio View on Ohio Memory.
