Residential Streets of Columbus Collection
Description: Two men and a dog stand alongside what appears to be the southeast corner of City Park Avenue and Lansing Street in Columbus, Ohio. This photograph was taken in Columbus's German Village neighborhood. Located in the south end of Columbus, German Village is an historic neighborhood largely settled by German immigrants, who at one time comprised a third of the city's population. The area is characterized by small, closely-built homes, and residential streets interspersed with small commercial buildings. View on Ohio Memory.
