Description: This photograph shows seven women and five men outside the Kinley home near Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Four sit in chairs, two balance on the arms of the chairs, two sit, and three stand behind the group. Two women in the center look at each other as everyone else looks at the camera. Harry Kinley sits in the front row in the middle and his brother Avery sits in the second row on the furthest left. Their sister Villa Kinley stands behind the group on the right. Photograph from the collection of Harry Evan Kinley (1882-1969), a native of Upper Sandusky. Kinley was active in local events and organizations, and spent his professional career as a clerk at his father's department store, and later as a traveling salesman for the Marion Paper & Supply Company (1934-1962). He was also an avid lifelong photographer, and the bulk of the Harry Kinley Collection is comprised of glass plate negatives documenting the Kinley family, the city of Upper Sandusky and Wyandot County and surrounding areas.
