Description: Eleven photographs show the filming of "Gung Ho," the 1986 film directed by Ron Howard and starring Michael Keaton. The Paramount Picture movie was partially filmed in at the stamping plant in Shadyside, Ohio and in the town square in nearby Bellaire, Ohio. The Ohio Film Bureau was responsible for scouting sites for Paramount to shoot. According to an accompanying press release, Paramount's decision to film in Ohio would bring almost a million dollar into the state and create hundreds of jobs.
