Description: Photograph taken of an illustration in "History of the City of Columbus," showing the Lucas Sullivant store in the Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The illustration is credited to F. E. Howe and dated 1892. A caption on the reverse reads "Lyne Starling and Lucas Sullivant operated this early store in Franklinton." Franklinton, immediately west of Columbus, was founded by Lucas Sullivant in 1797. Franklinton was eventually annexed by Columbus as the city grew larger, and is now a part of the city's West Side.
