Description: Dated to the 1860s in Germany, this silk crazy quilt has nine blocks arranged in three rows of three. The seams are embroidered with an orange herringbone stitch, and there are appliqued shapes including a fan, a heart, an anchor, a star and a high-heeled shoe. The back of the quilt is black.
