Jeffrey Bucket Elevator   Save
Jeffrey Manufacturing Company Collection
Description: This bucket elevator was made by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio, ca. 1905. While the chain drive was manufactured by the Jeffrey chain division, the steel riveted buckets were made by Ohio Malleable Iron Company, a Columbus-based Jeffrey subsidiary. Elevators of this type were designed to move bulk material, like coal or rock, vertically in a continuous motion. View on Ohio Memory.
