Jeffrey Elevating and Screening Plant   Save
Jeffrey Manufacturing Company Collection
Description: Rock crusher, bucket elevator and rotating screen made by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio. Large rock was fed into a Jeffrey rock crusher on the ground. The crushed rock was then raised by a Jeffrey bucket elevator to the rotating screen. Three different sizes of screen separated the crushed rock into storage bins below. Three chutes dispensed the desired size of stone to a wagon or truck. This plant was owned by Joseph Byrnes, Cincinnati, Ohio, 1916. View on Ohio Memory.
