Description: Steel apron conveyor made by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio being used to move coal at the Electric Shovel Coal Company, Terre Haute, Indiana, 1929. As the coal passed along on this picking table, workers removed shale and other debris. The coal was then loaded into railroad coal cars beneath the tipple. View on Ohio Memory.
