Jeffrey Manufacturing Company Collection
Description: Type B-3 pulverizer made by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio on display in the factory, 1934. It was used to crush a variety of materials, such as limestone, shale, coal, clay, chalk, gypsum, phosphate, asbestos, garbage, and many other products. The pulverizer could be driven by a belt or direct drive motor. A Jeffrey employee holds a sheet to better define the shape of the pulverizer. On the left is "Skinny", a Jeffrey employee who did product promotion. This machine was built for the U. S. Gypsum Company, location unknown. View on Ohio Memory.
