Description: 25-ton haulage locomotive built by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio in use at a U. S. Steel Company mine in Lynch, Kentucky, 1954. Haulage locomotives were designed to pull long "trips" of coal cars from mines. Electrical power was supplied by an overhead cable and picked up by a trolley boom on the locomotive.
