Description: Reverse reads "Cinci., O., Nov. 16, 1937. Copy, Mellish Home". The Thomas Melish home is located at 363 Lafayette Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio. Built in 1914, using hammer dressed Ohio limestone, in the style of a rural British Cotswold home, it boasts wall which are two feet thick and paned, leaded glass casement windows. This may have been the home of Reverend Thomas Jefferson Melish (Mellish), D.D., rector of St. Philip's Protestant Church, North Side, Cincinnati, whose father John Melish was born in Scotland and moved to Wilmington, Ohio in 1817, but more information is needed to be certain.
