Lewings Sick Room Supplies is visible on the corner opposite. Laurel Homes was one of two Federal Housing Projects in Cincinnati's West End. Completed in 1938 and costing nearly eight million dollars, the 29 building units are made of buff brick cover a 15 block area and have 1303 apartments.
