The sign in the photo reads: "ENGLEWOOD PARK CIVILIAN CONSERVATION CORPS UNDER DIRECTION NATIONAL PARK SERVICE US DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERRIOR COOPERATION WITH MIAMI CONSERVANCY DISTRICT ENTRANCE" Englewood MetroPark was created with the construction of the large earthen dam in 1922.
