This home is located on Ridgeway Road, in Dayton and was given to the Cincinnati province of the Society of Mary in 1964. Frederick H. Rike became president of Rike's (Rike Kumler Co.), after the death of his father, David L. Rike, one of the original founders of the company. The roots of the company go back to 1853, when Prugh, Joice & Rike opened their dry goods store on Third St. in Dayton. View on Ohio Memory.
