Bartz" Photograph shows the inside of the Youngstown Sheet and Tube factory. Rows of rows of machinery hold large spindles of wire and appear to be operated by a pulley system. Driver pulley wheels at belt attached to a catwalk. Five workers can be seen through the photograph. They are all men and wear a similar ensemble of bib overalls, a flannel-like shirt, and a train conductor style hat. The Youngstown Iron Sheet and Tube Company, based in Youngstown, Ohio, was one of the largest steel manufacturers in the world. Officially, the company was created on November 23, 1900, when Articles of Incorporation of the Youngstown Iron Sheet and Tube Company were filed with the Ohio Secretary of State at Columbus.
