Description: This small and narrow Fort Ancient type triangular point was made from flint that is dark grayish brown, grayish brown, and dark brown in color. It has serrated edges and the base has been broken. This piece is from the Late Prehistoric Period. Several distinctive Late Prehistoric cultures are recognized in different parts of Ohio: Fort Ancient in southern and central Ohio; Sandusky in northwestern Ohio; Whittlesey in northeastern Ohio; and Monongehela in eastern Ohio.
